VINCENT CHINE PHOTOGRAPHY

Since 1995, Vincent chine has worked in the fashion industry as a photographer, stylist, model coach, artistic director, and consultant.

when an interviewer asked him about his journey in the fashion industry he says he started fashion as a model when he was young he was in french national swin team and a phtographer saw him and he wanted him to model his swim collection.That was his entry to the fashion industry.

He says back than the working conditions were not the same as we have today.“Ihad really long hair and I was very skinny.I was respected but as a model you have to understand that you have to let your ego on the side, you are working in a team. Because as a designer when you present a collection, you put six months of your life just for that show, the designer books models to represent his collection and not the contrary, the model is not here for shows himself. I understood that when I was younger, I think it was okay. So when I have started modeling, like lots of teenagers, I had a low self confidence; why people book me?”

Then he moved to montreal and worked as coach for models for runways and posing and after that he was running a model agency as well .Then after that he took a big break, and came back as a stylist, makeup artist and finally photographer. The photography is very the last thing he wanted to accomplished in my fashion life .

His experience includes coordinating fashion shows, working on photo shoots, developing potential talent, and preparing models for competition. Vincent Chine’s photography projects cover model test shoots for agencies, fashion photography for designers, commercial photography, corporate visuals and conceptual art projects Based in Montreal, he coaches and builds the portfolios of models who have gone on to work for major agencies Europe, North America and Asia.

He really like to take black and white pictures, and mostly action, he got the signature look which is like making men jumping in the air, this is one of his styles, that he has been known for and his name is known to photograph many underwear as well.
