Fighter Full Movie Collection: Fighter box office collection day 9: Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s film crosses Rs 150 crore mark in India | – Times of India

Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter has been struggling to perform at the box office after crossing Rs 100 crore mark in its opening four-day weekend. The Republic Day had given a boost to the film’s collection but the Siddharth Anand directorial nosedived in the weekdays. And the film continues to face the slump at the box office.
According to Sacnilk, Fighter is projected to earn Rs 5.35 crore on Friday, with an overall 10.22 per cent occupancy for Hindi.The decline in Fighter collections began from its first Monday itself. It collected Rs 8 crore, followed by earning Rs 7.5 crore on Tuesday, Rs 6.5 crore on Wednesday and Rs 6 crore on Thursday. The total box office collection of Fighter has now reached Rs 151.85 crore.

Fighter Movie Review
Recently, Siddharth Anand addressed the underwhelming performance of Fighter at the box office. He listed out various reasons, including the Thursday working day release, that could have impacted the film’s overall performance.

The director also said that they, as makers, have become unrealistic when it comes to setting certain expectations about the film’s performance. He also mentioned that the concept of airplanes is alien to the audience, claiming that 90 per cent of the Indians have not seen or flown in the aircrafts.

As Fighter enters its second week, it remains to be seen whether this Hrithik and Deepika starrer would be able to bounce back or continue to face decline at the box office in the coming days.
