Alia Bhatt stuns in black velvet saree at ‘Poacher’ premiere with mom Soni Razdan and sister Shaheen Bhatt | – Times of India

Bollywood star Alia Bhatt radiated elegance at the premiere of her upcoming web series ‘Poacher‘ in London. Sticking to her desi roots, the actress hit the blue carpet in a saree. For the grand premiere, Alia brought along mom, Soni Razdan and sister Shaheen Bhatt as her dates.

Dressed in a striking black velvet saree with a golden border and a sleeveless blouse, Alia stood out from the crowd.She completed her look with rows of pearl necklaces and tied her hair in a bun. Soni, on the other hand, opted for a classic black dress, while Shaheen also fished out an elegant pink and red ethnic ensemble.
The Bhatt girls had all eyes on them as they arrived on the carpet and posed for a bunch of photos together. While Soni and Shaheen made their way into the theatre for the special screening, Alia took turns posing with members of the production team, actress Freida Pinto and director Richie Mehta.

In a series of posts posted online, Alia shared glimpses from the big premiere, capturing various moments of the evening from the carpet to the screening and the panel discussion. Alia also gave fans a closer look at her regal look for the evening.
One particularly heartwarming moment that was posted online, was a selfie by Soni, that saw the mother-daughter trio smiling away in their seats at the screening.

Alia serves as an executive producer for ‘Poacher’, a crime drama series directed by Richie Mehta, that is said to be based on true events. The show gives an in-dept look into India’s largest ivory poaching ring. The series that stars Nimisha Sajaya, Roshan Mathew, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya premieres on 23 February.
