Shivani began her training for dance and singing since she was three years old. Her interest in dance was recognized by her family and all supported this essence of hers. Proper guidance from family members, From a younger age she continues growing her skills in dancing. She joined various dance classes in Udaipur and participated in many competitions. For better skills & training, She joined Rajeev Surti Dance Factory (In 2014), a dance class from a very well know Bollywood Choreographer from India, “Rajeev Surti”. She improved her talent with time & participated in many competitions at City, State, and National Level.

She is extremely influenced by the dancing styles of Indian Legends, Madhuri Dixit and Prabhu Deva. Other than dancing, Shivani has also been interested in playing Badminton, Painting, and Singing.

2007

• Winner of both solo and duet dance organized by Samridhi films & Television ( State level )
• Winner of dance competition based on Meera Mythological songs by Meera Kala Mandir, Udaipur

2008

• Winner of Boogie boogie 2008 organized by Golcha associated group
• Winner of Chak de Udaipur 2008 organized by heart foundation dance academy PMSES
• Winner of Megha dance competition 2008 organized by Pal Pal Prasannta

2009

• Attended the one month workshop with Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Acharya Sir.
• Participated and performed in ‘Honhar’ a multi-talent show organized by the Sadhna channel in Delhi from 3rd Sep. 2009 to 7th Sep. 2009.

2010

• Runner up of Annapurna dance competition Udaipur
• Participated in Dance Mewar Dance state level dance competition organized by Dainik Bhaskar

2011

• Performed in Deepawali Mela 2011 Local talent night organized by Nagar Parishad Udaipur

2012

• Got Star performer Title in Naach 2012 organized by Channel 24 Udaipur
• Performed in Purple Planet Events Pvt. Ltd., Udaan 2012
• Performed in Deepawali Mela 2012 Local talent night organized by Nagar Parishad Udaipur

2013

• Runner up of Group Song competition presented by Bharat Vikas Parishad Udaipur

2015

• Participated in the final round of National level dance competition at Indore

2016

• Participated in all Solo, Duet, and Group Dance competitions, got Chairman awards in two categories, and got the second runner up position in group dance and runner-up position in duet dance presented by Akhil Bhartiya Sanskrutik sang, Pune, Maharashtra( National dance competition )
• Got selected for the International Dance Olympiad, Spain.
• Winner of Max little Icon 2016 presented by Max celebration mall Udaipur
• Performed with Bollywood dancer Vaishnavi Patil at the celebration mall in Deepawali Utsav.

2017

In 2017, Shivani grabbed a Golden Opportunity which almost changed her life.

Simon Fuller, best known for managing “The Spice Girls”, one of the biggest girl bands in pop history, and as the creator of the Idol franchise. Simon was searching for new talent for his upcoming project, in that search, he comes to India & conducted the auditions for the global pop group, at the True School of Music in Lower Parel, Mumbai. Where 42 finalists were shortlisted from various parts of India & Shivani was one of them. 11 years of practice & dedication, She put her best for the audition. The result 2 girls were selected from India Shivani was one of them & she was invited to Los Angeles for the final selection. Finally at the LA Simon Fuller selected Shivani, she was the one who will be representing India in The Global Pop Group NOW UNITED.

Shivani’s Words on this Life-Changing Opportunity

I heard about the auditions and sent in a video. We all were called to Mumbai, on March 2017, to perform in front of Simon Fuller and his team. They’d been going through the dance schools, asking choreography experts across India trying to find the best of the best. When I got to Mumbai, there were 42 finalists and I got selected .”

Although she had never expected her career would shape up on the global stage, she said, she couldn’t be more excited about it. She also said that while growing up, she used to watch American TV shows and movies, but it was a surreal experience to visit the LA. “It’s amazing to work with such a talented group of individuals belonging to different ethnicities, as you learn about different cultures and religions.

Working With Now United She has Rap in 3 songs & sung a Coras in 1 song.

2018

Group Performance at “So You Think You Can Dance “.

She Was Awarded the “Maharana Sajjan Sing Ji “Award at Maharana Mewar Foundation Awards.

2019

• ‘Ultimate Asian Sweetheart of 2019’Shivani garnered a total of 242,233 votes beating 26 other finalists from across the region.

Education

Shivani recently completed her 12th from Alok Sr. Sec. School and pursuing her graduation from Australia. Besides this, she is also doing her diploma in folk dance. She has completed her graduation and pursuing post-graduation in Kathak from Lucknow University.

Grandparents Blessing

Shivani’s grandparents, Rajendra Kumar Paliwal and Leela Devi Paliwal have expressed their happiness on her global achievement and have expressed hope that the young girl will reach heights in her fields of interest.
