Stephen Voyce: SINGER| SONGWRITER | PRODUCER | ACTOR/FILMMAKER

Stephen Voyce is an actor and composer, known for Mixed Signals (2019), The Haunting of Amber Ray and Signed, Sealed, Remembered. (2020). Voyce is a Canadian/Nigerian singer, songwriter, producer, tech geek, philanthropist and recently actor/filmmaker.

Back in early 2008, Voyce won the RegionalMIX 96Radio Star Songwriting Competition,for his Song “Far Too Long”,which was combined with a powerful message.He says “Far Too Long” to me, was a song that spoke strongly about his frustration with the music industry, one that stifles artistic growth and enforces taking the safe road. Hismessage was, stay true to who you are. Winning for that song was important. Everything changed after that; doors now opened where they were once closed “.

Since then, he has produce music, for many artists, ranging from Pop, R&B, Rock, Dance to Hip Hop genres. He says “His success drives him to push beyond his previous capabilities, never satisfied. A thirst for growth compels him”
” Nothing in life comes easy, especially when trying to make a dream a reality. But as long as you believe in yourself, work hard enough and push through the tough times, you will be unstoppable “.

When he began his career officially, he used it as a coping mechanism to deal with a tremendous pain he was living with, the pain of losing his mother. His quest to find his way out of this darkness drove him to record and create music that not only told his story, but allowed him to release his emotions, his demons.
In the bitter sweet irony of life, it is in this same year that he got signed to Nashville, Tennessee based record label, Step Five Records.

With a large and growing fan base, multiple awards and nominations, music having topped charts, major label releases, having been cast in TV shows and movies, etc, Stephen Voyce is well on his way in this new chapter of his career, one that reflects where he is now in his life.

“I still want to make people feel things, that’ll never change. But I also want them to have fun, because, what’s the point of all of this if we can’t spread a little love.”

Like a true Gemini, Stephen is multifaceted, pursuing simultaneously a career in technology. To him, both worlds aren’t distinct but one and the same. He never shies away from being all that he can be.
