“Tim Mason: From ‘The Moment’ to Dance Music Stardom”

Tim Mason has been at the forefront of the melodic house genre, crafting his sound and proving to the dance industry that he is one of the most inspiring and creative producers on the scene.

The debut single titled 'The Moment' made a significant impact on dance floors worldwide, capturing the attention of notable DJs and producers such as Swedish House Mafia, Tiesto, David Guetta, Chemical Brothers, and Calvin Harris. It was revealed by label boss Steve Angello that this track marked the debut of a new artist, Tim Mason, whom he had signed to Size Records.

Tim Mason expressed his passion for the way music can connect people, whether they are in the same place or miles apart. He was inspired to make music, and this enthusiasm was evident in his productions and performances.

His second single, 'Anima,' generated further excitement and support from top electronic artists and the online and media communities. Tim Mason's studio quality translated seamlessly to the stage, leading to a 74-date Roll Call tour across North America, Europe, and Asia in 2012. He performed at notable venues and events like Creamfields, Ministry Of Sound, EDC New York, SW4, EDC Las Vegas, and San Diego Sports Arena.

On February 11th, he released his eagerly anticipated single 'Swoon' on Size Records, which received widespread support from well-known DJs. The track's melodious nature made it suitable for radio play, with DJs like BBC Radio One's Danny Howard and Pete Tong regularly supporting it on their shows.

Tim Mason's productions became synonymous with energetic beats and rolling riffs that electrified audiences at festivals, clubs, and arenas. He also built an impressive remix portfolio, remixing tracks by artists like Zedd, Moby, David Guetta, Lucid, Nadia Ali, Alex Kenji, Starkillers, Timbaland, and upcoming remixes of Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Otherside," Kaskade & Swanky Tunes' "No One Knows Who We Are," and Steve Aoki & Angger Dimas' "Singularity."

Notably, Tim Mason also created his own remixes of his tracks, referred to as the OMG edits (Original Music Garnished). These edits were given away for free as a token of appreciation to his fans. He hinted at the release of the next OMG edit.

In 2013, Tim Mason continued his relentless pursuit of success, balancing intense studio work with live performances in Europe and North America. He performed at high-profile festivals and explored new territories, including a return to Ibiza, the original Mecca of dance music. This year promised to be one of his most productive and promising to date.

  3. Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!
