Alphons Joseph

Alphons Joseph is a music chief and playback vocalist in the Malayalam entertainment world who got a break as a film music writer subsequent to creating for the film Vellithira. Personal life and early career

Alphons was brought into the world in Kaachery close to Nadathara, Thrissur, Kerala, India to an artistically wealthy Christian family. Career

As a music director

Rahman in the acclaimed soundtrack for the Tamil film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa. The film as well as the melody turned into a tremendous progress in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and abroad and the writer referred to his version as “profound”. He has sung the Malayalam piece of the melody “Chellena oru mazhai thuli” from the film “Raja Rani” and he personally composed the malayalam verses for that tune and music was created by G V Prakash. He keeps on singing in Tamil movie industry for some other music chiefs. His new malayalam version in Bijibal’s music bearing for the film Rajamma@Yahoo got unique appreciation and the melody named as “Mananivalude” was a khavali tune.

As a Teacher

Alphons is also a teacher and the Managing Director of his own music school Crossroads School of Music. There are two branches of this music school – one in Pathadipalam and the other in Panampilly Nagar.
