Pandit Raghunandan Panshikar (conceived 1963) is a Hindustani old style singer. He has gotten preparing in the Jaipur gharana Shri. Raghunandan Panshikar has laid out his own remarkable treatment to traditional singing under tutelage of Smt. Kishori Aamonkar, which redirected from customary Jaipur-Atrauli Gharana. A flexible craftsman, he sings semi traditional structures like Bhajans, Thumris, Gazals and Natya Sangeet with panache. Beneficiary of a few renowned honors, Shri. Raghunandan Panshikar has transformed exhibitions all through the country as well as in Europe, the United States and the Middle east.
Raghunandan was naturally introduced to a group of Sanskrit researchers and old style performers. He is the child of the famous Marathi stage entertainer and maker Prabhakar Panshikar. Panshikar’s fitness for music was perceived and cultivated since the beginning. He started his proper investigation of music in Mumbai at eleven years old. He gained music from the late Pandit Vasantrao Kulkarni for a very long time. Later he took preparing from the doyen of Jaipur gharana, Kishori Amonkar from the age of 17, over next 20-22 years.
